Accommodation details

All our Dexter’s are reared traditionally at our Treovis Cross Farm, being fed only on naturally grown grass, hay and silage. The steers take up to 2½ years to reach maturity at which time they are taken to a small local abattoir where the meat is hung for between 2 and 3 weeks. It is then processed by our butcher into conveniently sized and clearly labelled packs.

We can supply anything from a whole carcase, half a carcase and mixed quarter down to our introductory packs consisting of between £25 - £30 worth of meat.

Our most popular product is the mixed quarter, which is a selection of cuts from both the front and rear quarters. For those with not a great deal of space in their freezers we can divide the mixed quarter in half if required.
