Our Farm
Ruth's Little Farm is set  just outside the Aberdeenshire village of Dunecht, very close to Aberdeen. Here, with the help of my husband and our two young boys, I enjoy running our own little farm. Our pigs are all traditional breeds, and are raised outdoors. They take twice as long to grow as their more commercial counterparts and we believe the wait is well worth it.
 
Our Pedigree Pigs
The pigs at Ruth's Little Farm are all pedigree. This means that both parents of our pigs are pedigree (registered with the British Pig Association which keeps the pedigree/family tree for each pig). We also notify the British Pig Association of the pig's birth and give each pig a unique identification tag, to ensure traceability. This means that you can be certain that the Gloucester Old Spot, British Saddleback or Berkshire rare breed pork you buy from us is the real thing.
