My son and co-owner Nick has hand picked an incredibly talented team. Our Head Chef Dominic Chapman, our Sommelier Michael Trenga and our Restaurant Manager, Gherras Mo have ensured that the Royal Oak has retained the warmth and atmosphere of a traditional English pub whilst growing  into a top class restaurant.

All their efforts have been rightly recognised in a series of awards including a Michelin Bib Gourmand for the second year running; the AA Guide English ‘Restaurant of the Year’, the Good Food Guide ‘Best Pub Chef’ plus the seal of approval from some of the top culinary critics in the country and even a glowing review from that scourge of eating establishments, Michael Winner.
