Welcome to Madgett’s Farm Poultry
We now supply our poultry via mail order. Go to our Buy page to purchase packs of our wonderful birds.
Our Chickens
We raise free-range White Cobb chickens, taking them at four weeks old and sending them straight out to range.We feed them on our own special blend of home grown feed which is GM and additive free. No growth promoters are used. As the chickens are free range they also forage across the pasture for grubs and the grit which helps with their digestion. We process the chickens between 16 and 20 weeks and hang them for two days. Our birds weigh in from 1.8kgs (4lbs) up to 5.45kgs (12lbs). If you require a large bird please telephone in advance. Portions are also available.
