About us
The Fine Cheese Co. is  owned and run by Ann-Marie Dyas, she is committed to the survival of traditional cheese-making, and to introducing farmhouse cheeses to as wide a public as possible. Cheese specialist for twenty years, Ann-Marie is a judge at both the British and World Cheese awards.

The Cheese
We stock over a hundred hand-made British cheeses: from rediscovered gems such as Devon Oke, a hard but creamy unpasteurised cows’ milk cheese made to the original seventeenth century recipe, to Lord of the Hundreds, an unpasteurised mature sheeps’ milk cheese made in the style of an Italian pecorino. However, our love for cheese extends beyond these shores. We also import artisan cheeses from France, Italy, Spain and Holland. (Sometimes the only way to get the Dutch to part with their finest aged Goudas is to go over and get it.)

Our Shop and Website
Visit our shop in beautiful Bath for the full Fine Cheese Co. experience. A shop groaning with artisan cheeses, and many great foods that you can’t buy anywhere else. Best of all, we have a cafe with our own chefs, who make everything from scratch - from flaky pastry sausage rolls to chewy pistachio macaroons.
